The juxtaposition of different symbols, flags and beautifully drawn turrets of the castle drew me to the work the strange elements of clashing architecture and highly decorative patterns all merge together creating this bizarre but beautiful building. The slightly off colours contribute to the overall mystery of the work, am intriqued how the image has a recognisable yet ethereal/fantastical quality.
